Jerome P Koziatek

Jerome Koziatek, age 86, Loving husband of Agnes for 60 years.  Dear father of John Paul (deceased), Laurene (John) Kiel and Cynthia (Tom) Martin. Cherished grandfather of Eric and Lilly. Beloved son of Florence (Baclawski) and Benjamin W Koziatek (both deceased).   Active parishioner of Assumption Church.  Graduated from Cathedral Latin and Fenn College with a degree in mechanical engineering.  His career included work at Republic Steel, Cybermetals, and Evenflo.  During his career he co-authored many patents including intensive polymer mixers, child restraint devices, industrial fasteners and many more.  Jerome was a member of many professional affiliations that include the Society of Automotive Engineers, Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and ASTM Task Group.  He was a former member of Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association Committee on Child Restraint Devices or Motor Vehicles and past chairman JPMA Product Safety Certification Committee.  After retiring, Jerome became an expert witness, testifying in many court cases in regards to child safety products.  In his name, donations may be made to Assumption Church Endowment Fund. VISITATION FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29 FROM 5:00-7:00 pm at the DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) and Saturday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM.  Prayers at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am at Assumption Church, 9183 Broadview Road.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Faulhaberfuneralhome.com
