It is with great sadness that the family of Zivorad “Ziggy” Katic announces his passing, on February 13, 2024, in his 74th year in Brunswick, Ohio.
Zivorad was born in Velika Krnsna, Serbia to parents (†)Radomir and (†)Sloboda Katic (nee Batinic). Brother to (†)Milan Katic and Radmila Vicovac (nee Katic). Father to Slavica Katic and Dusica Piatt (nee Katic). Grandfather to Robert “Bobby” Katic, Dillon Katic, and Renee Brinkman. Great-grandfather to Theodore and Jackson Katic. Zivorad was loved and will be missed by his niece and nephews Dragan Pantic (Susan), (†)Radoslav Vicovac, and Dragana Jankovic (nee Vicovac). Zivorad was loved by his great nieces and great nephews, cousins, extended near and far.
Zivorad’s fun demeanor, wide smile, sense of humor, and lightheartedness, will continue to be felt with fondness by numerous family and friends.
Zivorad came over to the United States in 1969. He worked at Empire Plow from his arrival to the United States, until he retired in 2011. Zivorad enjoyed his time at gatherings with his whit and charisma. Liked to discuss pop culture, news and avidly followed Cleveland sports teams.

FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) where services will be held on Monday, February 19 at 12:00 pm and from St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road at 12:15 PM. V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating VISITING HOURS at the funeral home MONDAY 10 AM until time of service.
