Wei Tung Chin

Wei Tung Chin, 101, loving wife of T.Y. Chin (deceased).  Dear mother of Gloria (deceased) (Ben), Thomas (Esther-deceased), Phyllis (deceased), Winifred, Victoria (Marcus), Richard (Amy), and Walden (Mary Lou). Beloved grandmother of Symeon (Morfydd), Stephanie, Seraiah (Andrew) and beloved great-grandmother of Emily, Jonathan, and Daniel. Wei came to Cleveland from China in 1935. She cared for her large family of 7 children as well as helping her husband to run his restaurant business for many years.  For the last 67 years Wei, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, taught the Bible to others, especially focusing on those in the Chinese community who speak little or no English. Right up until her death, she remained active as a volunteer Bible teacher.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Independence Civic Center, 6363 Selig Drive, Independence, OH, 44131, (216) 524-3262.  ARRANGEMENTS BY DONALD A.
