Vucina Micovic

Micovic, Vucina age 83 passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Beloved father of Slavka Mandic (Rade); Sonja Meadows; Novica (JoAnn nee Buksa); Ljiljana Walla; and Mirjana Dudley (late Mark Dudley). Cherished grandfather of Dusan, Suzi, and Nina Mandic; Alexandria, Chloe, and Ian Walla; Tina, Katelin, and Aleksandar Micovic; Juliana and Angelina Dudley. Former husband of Dusanka Micovic. Preceeded in death by his parents Branko and Milena.  Vucina was a dear friend to many and was known to his friends as “Vuk” and “Victor”. His family brought him to America in 1968 and he retired from LTV Steel after 30 years of working as an Iron Steel employee. Vucina loved spending time with his family, listening to Serbian music, watching his favorite Cleveland sports teams, and enjoyed getting coffee with his friends where they would joke and laugh together. His greatest accomplishment was being a loving father and grandfather to those he leaves behind and he will be missed dearly. SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 8 ^TH AT 12:30PM AT ST. SAVA SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH,  2151 WALLINGS ROAD, BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, OH 44147.  V. REV. MIJOLJUB MATIC OFFICIATING.  INTERMENT ST.
