Thomas J. Tupa

Thomas J. Tupa, age 84, beloved husband of Carol for 64 years.  Dear father of Cynthia (Elmer) Croushore, Mark (Sue), Kim (Jim) Katusha, Kristen (George) Davet and Tom (Beth).  Cherished grandfather of Bryan, Maggie, Christopher, Mark, Michael, Jack, Jim, David, Patrick, Molly, Matt, Kevin, Tom, Tim, Tyler and Emma.  Great grandfather of Daniel and Charlie.  Son of Stephen and Anna (nee Mericka) (both dec). Brother of Dorothy Hodous (dec) and Patsy (dec). 39 year employee of Euclid-Hitachi Inc. retiring as Executive Vice President of Human Resources.  As a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was a shining example of a life well lived.  Tom’s life revolved around his Faith, Family and Friends.  Never one to miss a party or tell a good joke, his true passion was for his beloved wife, Carol, his children, 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, for whom he was their “Hero”.  He most enjoyed family vacations and being an avid supporter of all his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.   US Army Veteran.  Family suggests contributions to St. Basil the Great Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, 44141.   VISITING HOURS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20 FROM 4-8 PM AT THE DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME. 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague).  Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21 at St. Basil Church at 10 am.  Interment Brecksville Cemetery.
