Terri Long

Terri Long (nee Metzger), age 67, born October 26th,1953, passed September 13th, 2021.  Preceded in death by, and joining in Heaven, husband Al.  Lovingly missed by daughter Nikki (Chris) Lizak, granddaughter Kenzie; son Brian (Sarah) Long; sister Cherri (Dan) Kendis; brothers Bob Metzger, Rick (Becki) Metzger, Skip (Kelly) Sted; brother-in-law Wayne (My) Long.

Surely Terri was met with open arms by Al and every other loved one passed on, but most importantly of all, by Jesus.  She persevered through more than one should but always with a smile.  She served the Lord with all her heart and was not afraid of life after death.  She spent her time studying angels and heaven-sent messages while also creating a garden oasis full of flowers, hostas, birds, and hummingbirds.  Terri’s sewing craft blessed many as she always added that thoughtful, homemade touch.  She was the best wife, mom, sister, aunt, godmother, friend, and especially Nana, there could be.  Terri will be forever loved, cherished, honored, remembered, and greatly missed.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30pm on September 23, 2021, at Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church, 11680 Royalton Rd. at Abbey Rd., North Royalton, OH.  We respectfully ask that masks be worn.  Pastry and coffee to be served after the service.  Flowers may be sent to the church, or family suggests memorial donations to Ames Family Hospice House, Northeast Ohio SPCA on Brookpark Rd., or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
