Sonya Marie Raybould, age 37, passed away from a natural causes while enjoying vacation with her family on Tuesday October 6th, 2020 in Hilton Head, SC. Born May 3rd, 1983 to Dave and Natalie Raybould and raised in Wadsworth, Sonya’s vibrant personality and hospitality was the foundation for the restaurants she and her sister successfully owned and operated. Sonya and her much older sister (as she would put it) Serena were inseparable and two peas in a pod. They finished each other sentences and never knew life without each other, they were the perfect team.
Sonya was known for her beautiful sultry voice and was often seen singing with her father and friend Jeff at Kavana and the Taverne. She sang from deep down, pulling you in and melting your heart and she loved others the same way. With a heart of gold and a natural ability to connect with others, she built deep and unique relationships with everyone, from all walks of life, selflessly and without judgement. Her presence in a room was undeniable and her uncanny ability to inspire, entertain, calm and uplift others through stories, advice, jokes or just a listening is how she will be remembered and what allowed her to have such a great impact on so many lives.
Sonya is singing with the angels now and will leave behind her parents, Dave & Natalie Raybould; brother, David (Heather) Raybould; Sister Serena (Ben) Evans and niece Pepper; Brother Sam (Rachel) Kadi and nephew and nieces Alex, Abby and Avery; Grandmother Baka Marie; and cat CleoCATra. We will all miss you and love you forever.
