Robert E Sandorf

Robert E. Sandorf, age 87, Loving husband of Roberta (dec).  Dear father of Matthew (Karen) and Douglas.  Cherished grandfather of William, Bradley and Rebecca (dec). Son of Alfred and Kathryn (both dec).   Brother of Patricia (Gordon) Johnson and the following deceased:  Alfred Jr. (Clara) and Gloria (Don).  Dear uncle and friend of many.  He was a US Army veteran.  His Service led to his long career in the electronics industry.    Robert was a registered Professional Engineer and obtained 10 US patents.  He worked at NASA as a Design Engineer during the Apollo space program  (yes, he was a Rocket Scientist!).  He was a member of MENSA (a society for individuals with a high IQ). and served on the Board of Zoning Appeals with the Village of Richfield. He also taught a course in the evenings on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).  He had a lifelong interest in Astronomy and the Cosmos.  He was a cancer SURVIVOR.  He loved spending time with his family. A  CHRISTIAN FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13 AT 11 AM AT ST. VICTOR CHURCH, 3435 Everett Road, Richfield, Ohio 44286. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY AT THE CHURCH FROM 10 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  ARRANGEMENTS BY  DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME
