Robert "Dean" Rasmussen

Robert “Dean” Rasmussen, age 56, of Richfield, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Beloved son of the late Nancy (neé Sabo) and is survived by his father Robert F., his brother Steven (Meg), niece Kaili, nephew Quade. His sister Cynthia, niece Paige, nephew Alex. He was a graduate of Saint Joseph High School in 1983, received his BS from Miami University, Oxford in 1987, and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in North Miami Beach Florida in 1992. He practiced medicine as an emergency room physician for 30 years, saving countless lives and mentoring many aspiring medical professionals. He was a Lord in Scotland and an Ordained Minister and brought happiness to his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that contributions be made to K9s for Warriors (https://www.k9sforwarriors.org) in Ponte Vedra, Florida. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
