Richard M Fierst

Richard M. Fierst, a skilled plumber and entrepreneur, passed away April 19, 2024, at the age of 66.  Richard is survived by his beloved son Derek Fierst; stepdaughter Kristie (Tom) Lynch; dear mother Esther Fierst; brother Raymond (Diane) Fierst; sister Ramona (Gary) Shank; and many nieces and nephews. He was a friend to many. Richard was preceded in death by his dear father Dick Fierst.

Born on November 19, 1957, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Richard later grew up in Brecksville, Ohio where he graduated and later honed his craft as a plumber and business owner. He was passionate about his work, known for his expertise and dedication to his trade.

Outside of work, Richard found happiness in spending time on Lake Erie and during earlier years spending time at Whiskey Island. He enjoyed cheering on the Cleveland Browns and the camaraderie of fellow fans during football season. Over the years he found interest and joy caring for various types of fish and recently developed a newfound hobby of beekeeping.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday April 26th, 2024 at 7:30 pm at Faulhaber Funeral Home. 7915 Broadview Rd. Broadview Heights, OH 44147. Visitation Friday 5:00 pm until time of service.

May Richard’s spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Rich.
