Patricia A Nero

Patricia Nero September 17, 1931 – March 14, 2023.  Patricia, a long time resident of Brecksville, Ohio, met our Creator on Tuesday morning, March 14 ^th . Pat married her sweetheart Tom Nero in 1952 and they set up residence in Brecksville in March of 1955. Pat is survived by her children Timothy Nero (Trish Keefe), Betsy Nero (Patrick Gibbons), Amy Reising (Rick – deceased), her grandchildren Emily, Molly, Eric and Magdalena, and many nieces and nephews as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, daughter Kathleen and parents Richard and Mildred Wentz and in-laws Nicholas and Beatrice Nero.

Pat was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

Pat was best known for being partner with Tom in building the business of Aurora Farms. In their retirement they spent several years entertaining family and friends in Sarasota, Florida.

Pat was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a service sorority, for over 35 years. As part of the sorority she volunteered at St. Vincent Charity Hospital for most of those years.  She was dedicated to her prayer shawl group at St. Basil’s. Pat and Tom were Charter members of the church where she served several years on the finance committee.

In the end, her greatest achievement was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) on Sunday, March 19 from 2-4 pm.   A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held on Monday, March 20 at 12:00 pm at St. Basil Church, 8700 Brecksville Road.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.  Interment All Saints Cemetery.
