Nada Ratic (nee Rnic), age 69, passed away on December 21, 2024.  Loving wife of Branko for over 53 years. Dear mother of Dusan Ratic and Sandra (Radovan) Zecevic. Cherished grandmother of Marko and Jovan. Dear sister of Milica (Mirko) Gajic, Radojka Vujasin, and +Radovan Rnic (deceased). Loving sister in law of Danica Paklar and Dusan (Milena) Ratic. Dear aunt of Suzana, Goran (Ashley), Miroslav (Marija), Zeljana (Slobodan), Nada (Boban), Goran (Jelena) and Danijela (Dragan).
She will be missed by many additional family members, kumovi, and friends in Serbia, Croatia and North America.

Nada was born in Otisic, Dalmacija to parents +Rade and +Darinka Rnic (nee Krivosic). As the oldest of four children she developed her nurturing and caring demeanor even in her early childhood. She lived in Solin, a suburb of Split until the war in former Yugoslavia when she moved to Serbia before coming to the Unites States where she and her husband worked hard as immigrants to make a new life. She loved God and was a faithful, devoted member of the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio as well as a member of “Kolo of Serbian Sisters Sveta Petka.”
Nada loved her family. Her grandchildren were her most valuable treasure and she was such an important and valued part of their upbringing.Her kindness, humbleness, exceptional integrity, and wisdom will live forever in those that loved her.
May her memory be eternal.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 24th from 9:30 AM, followed by services at 10:30 AM at Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 6306 Broadview Road, Parma. V. Rev. Dragoslav Kosic officiating.
