Matthew T. Danko

Matthew Thomas Danko, age 85, passed away on December 1, 2021. Beloved husband of Annette Rose (deceased) for 62 years. Loving father to Matthew J. Danko and Maria M. Danko. Grandfather to Renee E. Danko, daughter of Matthew J. and Susan Danko. Grandfather to Brenna M. Danko, daughter of Maria M. Danko. Also survived by younger brother James Danko of Latrobe, PA. Matthew was born in Latrobe, PA, son of the late Matthew and Carmel Danko. Matthew was a gifted artist and studied at the Art institute of Pittsburgh, PA, following his graduation from Latrobe High School. After relocating to Cleveland, OH, he worked as a greeting card illustrator. Later, he founded his design studio, Danko Graphics Inc., which he operated for the remainder of his career with the support of his wife and son. Matthew was an architecture enthusiast and took joy in creating custom details for his beloved home in Walton Hills. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthias Church.  A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10 AT 10AM AT ST. MATTHIAS CHURCH, 1200 W.
