Mary Ann Hayden

Mary Ann Hayden age 78, of Largo Florida and Strongsville Ohio, lost her battle with cancer on June 23, 2022. Mary Ann was a dedicated nurse for many years. She worked at Marymount Hospital, Mt. Sinai, and Kaiser. She then relocated to California and worked as a surgical nurse at Stanford Medical Center. After retirement she moved to Florida. Mary Ann was extremely proud of her Serbian heritage. She was a loyal fun-loving friend with a heart of gold. She loved her animals, helping others, swimming, and shopping. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents John Hayden and Mary (nee Smolilo). Beloved sister to Ray Hayden (Danica). Loving aunt to nieces Alexandria Fontecchio (Steve), Danielle Hayden, and grandnieces Bella, Rosie, and Ellie. A special heartfelt thanks is extended to her friends Sue Myers, Pam Levy and Collette Carqueville for contributing extra time and effort supporting Mary Ann the last few years. She is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and cherished friends.  SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, JUNE 30 AT 12:OO PM AT St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 6306 Broadview Rd., Parma.  V. Rev Dragoslav Kosic officiating.  Interment St. Theodosius Cemetery.  VISITATION AT THE CHURCH ON THURSDAY 11 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  Arrangements by Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home.
