Marcia Rachel Snow

Marcia Rachel Snow (Alger) age 96 passed peacefully Sunday May 20, 2018 in Sagamore Hills, Ohio. She was preceded in death by husband Charles H. Snow, grandson Tom Snow, daughter-in-law Marilyn Snow and brother Charles Alger. She is survived by children Bill, Russ (Janet), and Bette (Gary)  Klein. Also are grandchildren Rebecca (Rusty) Ito, David Snow, Adam (Manda) Klein, Emily (Caleb) Troop, Steven (Kayla) Snow, John Snow and Daniel Snow. Cherished great-grandmother of Madelyn and Brooke Ito, and Gwyneth and Vivien Grey Klein. Beloved Aunt of many. During her remarkable life she had many roles and displayed many talents. World War II nurse serving in England and France, devoted wife and mother whose love and talents were ever present. Raising three successful children, all completing college and raising talented children of their own. Those that knew her could appreciate her ability to take the simple and make it beautiful; homemade braided rugs, baskets from pine needles, Christmas ornaments with amazing beauty and detail. She took on hobbies such as photography, caning, genealogy, quilling, candy making and embraced the complexity of the computer. She made time for friends and family and assisted many in their time of need with illness, nursing their needs. A remarkable woman that will be missed by many.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Twinsburg VFW Post 4929, 9825  Ravenna Road, 44087 or To Twinsburg Senior Center, 10622 Ravenna Road , 44087 . The family invites friends to join in a celebration of Marcia's life at Happy Days Lodge, 500 W. Streetsboro Road, Peninsula from 12-2 pm on Sunday June 24 ^th
