Lorraine Cunnane

Lorraine Cunnane, born on July 21, 1930, in Fitchburg, Mass, and passed away peacefully on March 16th, 2024, at the Hospice of the Western Reserve in Medina, Ohio.  Lorraine married John Cunnane in Dec 1950 and raised their family in Willow Grove, Pa and in 1977 moved to Broadview Heights, Ohio.  John and Lorraine were married for 56 years before John’s passing in 2006.  Together they raised five children, Johnny (deceased), Brian (deceased)(Adrian, deceased), Patti (Jack Davish, deceased), Tim (Judy) and Karen (John Allwood).  They were blessed with 8 grandchildren- Danny (Daiya), Erin (Dan), Lindsey (Eric), Kevin, Courtney (Lawrence), Brendan, Meghan, and AJ, and 8 great- grandchildren, Christoper, Fiona, John Paul, Oren, Adam, Zora, Raine, and Joseph Timothy. As well as proud aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was a proud member of the Cleveland Irish community and an active parishioner at the Church of the Assumption in Broadview Heights and made many lifelong friends wherever she went.  All the family and friends will have fond memories of holiday gatherings and summer vacations spent in Cape May, NJ.  In her recent years, she had spent much time with her family and was especially happy to visit Vermont last year for a family wedding and a cherished visit with her brother, Kenny, of North Conway, NH, before his passing last fall.

Services will be held on Friday,  March 22 with visitation starting at 10:00 am and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Rd Broadview Heights, Ohio.

Interment will be private service at the Western Reserve National Cemetery, in Rittman, Ohio.
