Kenneth C Kalina

Kenneth C. Kalina, age 75, Loving husband of Andrea (nee Corley) for 53 years. Dear father of Kristen (Sean) Belanger and Zachary (Samantha). Cherished grandfather of Drew, Kai, Owen, Addi, Avery and Cooper. Dearest brother of David (Carol), Jeffrey (Paula), and Diane Chrysanthus. Dear uncle and friend of many.
Ken was an alumnus of Bowling Green State University, graduating with a degree in education. He retired from the Cleveland Public School system where he was a special education and science teacher for over 35 years.
Ken was elected to the Educational Service Center of Lorain County Governing Board. He served his country as a Marine reservist.
Ken was an avid bicyclist ,gardener, and pickle ball player. He was a true Cleveland sports fan. “Here we go Brownies! Here we go!” “Take that, Patriot fans!”

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 18 at 11:00 am at Assumption Church, 9183 Broadview Road. Visitation Thursday 10:00 am -11:00 am at Assumption Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
