Joseph A. Butano, “Cowboy Joe”, age 81, Beloved husband of Noreen (nee Slezak) for 52 years.  Loving father of Karen (Richard) Bang, Joseph II (Olesia) and Nancy Butano (Paul Luddy).  Cherished grandfather of Dillon and Madeline.  Dear son of Thomas and Madeline (nee Mecurio) (both deceased).  Brother of Maria (Michael) DiCorpo.  Brother-in-law of Gerald Slezak, Dennis (Cookie) Slezak, Audrey (Chet) Roberts  and the following deceased:  Marjorie Couch and LaVerne Yenco-Brinkhoff.  Loving uncle and friend of many.  Joe was a Marine Corps. Veteran, Knights of Columbus-Fourth Degree, and active parishioner at the Church of Assumption.  Joe retired from NBC where he worked as a cameraman at WKYC.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Joe’s name to the Knights of Columbus 14406, C/O the Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, 44147.  Family will receive friends at Assumption Church on Saturday, January 6 from 10:30 until 12:00 PM followed by a mass of Christian burial at 12:00 PM.  A celebration of Cowboy Joe’s life will immediately follow at the Assumption Family Center.  ARRANGEMENTS BY DONALD A.
