Jela Vujovic

Jela Radovic-Vujovic,  69, born to Aleksa+ and Desanka+ Radovic, beloved wife of Rade Vujovic for 53 years. Mother to Svetlana (Jovo) Latkovic, Svetislav (Rada) Vujovic and Aleksandra (Dejan) Guzina. Proud grandmother of Branko Latkovic, Ksenija (Nicolas) Calegari, Gojko and Bojana Vujovic, Dimitrije and Nikolina Guzina. Great grandmother to Remington and Rowan Calegari. Sister in law to Ratko and Bozana Vujovic as well as many in Serbia. Aunt to many both here in America and Serbia. Sister to Tomo+, Dimitrije+ and Stana+ all deceased. Kuma to many.

Jela came here at 18 years old, 6 months pregnant and made a life with her husband and children. She worked as a seamstress for Catan‘s bridal for many years. She was always a hard worker, both at work and at her beloved church, St. Sava on Wallings Rd. She will always be remembered as a devout Orthodox Christian, Genuinely kind, elegant woman who was always a good friend and always willing to help anyone in need. After her retirement she was diagnosed with Lewy bodies dementia and has struggled with this horrible disease the last four years of her life. This week her suffering has come to an end and she has gone to be with God. May her memory be eternal, may she rest in eternal peace with the angels.

FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) where services will be held on  Tuesday, September 6 at 12 noon and from St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road at 12:15 pm.  V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating.  Interment St. Sava Cemetery.  VISITATION AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON TUESDAY 11 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
