Jason T. Hiday, known to many as “Jase”, departed from this world on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 to join his loving Lord and Savior in Heaven. Jase passed away 19 days after being diagnosed with acute liver failure. He was 55.
Jase was the passionate, loyal companion and fiancé to Irene Sciborowski for 23 years. The Sciborowski and Hunt family embraced Jase and bids him farewell. Jase is the precious son of Janie Hiday (Steve), Terry Wills (deceased), and adopted son of Bob Hiday (deceased); the treasured brother of Bobby and Stephanie; the wonderful uncle of Parker (Brooke) and Payton; the amazing grandson of Helen Carver (Glen) (deceased), Lewis Veach (deceased) and Fredamae and Owen Hiday (both deceased); proud father of Sophia Lingen (Mitch) and grandfather of Stevie Rose. Jase had a large extended family who he knew all by name and will be tremendously missed.
Jase was a larger than life presence who was an elite athlete in high school and college, which eventually led him to try out for the Chicago Bears. He was a business owner, a deep thinker, and a neighbor to all those he met. Jase believed in family and friendships, in being bottom line, giving the shirt off his back, and daily prayer. We love you, dear Jase and know we will be together again.
A grateful and special thanks to the awesome caregivers at Southwest General Hospital who left no stone unturned trying to save Jase’s life. A heartfelt thank you to Southwest Hospice who provided a beautiful and sacred place for Jase and his final hour. A celebration of life to be held in Tampa, Florida. Donations may be made in Jase’s memory to Hospice Services at Southwest General. ARRANGEMENTS BY DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME.
