Beloved wife of Robert G. for 60 years, 8 months, and 1 day. Bob and Jackie were very proud of being married for so long. Jackie was mother to Sheila Erbacher (Jim), Lisa MacFarlane (dec.) and Kara McConnell (Marty); Grandmother to Ross (Jen), Cole and Cade Erbacher, Martin and Keaton McConnell. Daughter of William and Geraldine Young (both dec); and sister of Robert L. Young (Paula) of Cincinnati, OH.

Jackie loved the Lord and taught her family to love Him, often reminding them to “say a little prayer” before any anxiety-inducing event. She loved Florida, and spent six months of every year there. She was an avid traveler, went on many cruises, and visited all 50 states and several countries.

After graduating from Parma Senior High School in 1962, and marrying the “boy next door” two weeks later, she always continued the pursuit of knowledge. Jackie loved crossword puzzles, trivia, and helping her daughters and grandsons with homework, papers, projects, and even college credits. She was very creative and made Halloween costumes, Christmas ornaments, and countless lunches, dinners, and potlucks. She was willing to help anyone in need.

Jackie will always be remembered for her fervent LOVE, commitment, chats, games and fun around the kitchen table, cups of hot tea, loyalty, laughter, and silliness. Her words of wisdom, clever ways, generosity, and thoughtful spirit will be with us forever.
