Jack U Obert

Jack U. Obert, age 65; Passed away Thursday, June 27th 2024. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Sabo); Loving father of Elizabeth Mayries (Kristopher) and Jacob. Grandfather of Olivia. Brother of Carl (Elizabeth) and K.C. (LuAnn). Cousin and uncle to many. Preceded in death by his parents Jack Sr and Joan (nee Shafranek).

U.S. Navy retired, Petty Officer 1st class, AE1 AW, 20 years service. Stationed in the Philippines and NAS Whidbey Island, WA where he was attached to several different squadrons. He was a Veteran of Desert Storm, and after retiring from the Navy, he served the community of Broadview Heights as a corrections officer until officially retiring in 2014. He was a Life member of Theo Breck Lodge #714 F & AM. Jack was an avid sports fan and supported many Ohio teams.

Friends may call at the Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) where a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19 at 12:30 pm. Visitation Friday 11 am until time of service.
