Ilija Jovanovic “King IJ”, age 53, Loving husband of Slavica (nee Djurovic) for 30 years. Cherished father of Maja. Dearest son of Jelka (deceased). Dear uncle, nephew, cousin, kum, and friend of many in US, Serbia, and Australia.
Ilija was dedicated to his family and a devoted member of St. Sava Church. His motto was “Go big or go home!”
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE DONALD A. FAULHABER FUNERAL HOME, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague) where services will be held on Monday, March 10 at 12 noon and from St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road at 12:15 PM. V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating.
Interment St. Sava Cemetery.
VISITATION MONDAY at the funeral home 10 AM until time of service.
