Gloria Smagola Palagie

Gloria Smagola Palagie, Beloved wife of Bill for 58 years.  Dear sister of Kathy Mlod and Donald (deceased). Daughter of George and Hilda Smagola (both deceased).   Beloved aunt and great aunt. Gloria graduated from Brecksville High School (1958), Miami University (1962) and earned a master's degree from Cleveland State University .  She retired from 30 years of teaching in 1992.  She became a volunteer with the Solon Library and as an usher at Playhouse Square.  She and Bill enjoyed traveling, especially on cruise ships.  March became her favorite travel time, attending the Indians spring training in Florida and Arizona.  Pastimes include cross-stitching, gardening, knitting, and anything else she could accomplish while watching the Indians games on TV    Family suggests contributions to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, OH 44134.

A private memorial service will be held on Monday. July 10 at 10:15 am at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, 44273.  PLEASE MEET AT ENTRANCE.
