Elizabeth "Betty" Tibbitts

Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Tibbitts (nee Drozdowski), 87, Beloved wife of the late Jack R. Tibbitts for 39 years, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 23, 2024. Loving mother of Kathie (Wirkus) Dolan, Mark (Jan) Wirkus, and Matt (Judi) Wirkus. Adoring and loving grandmother to Colleen (Dan) Hargis, Kelly Dolan, Alyssa (Andrew) Tarr, Bridgette Winkel, Steven (Brittany), Shannon (Ryan) Molnar, Christopher Wirkus, Adam (Angela) Wirkus, Kevin (Emily) Wirkus and Emily (Jeff) Todorovich. Great grandmother of Jacob, Lily, Logan, Ryder, and Addison. Dear sister of Jerome (Jerry/Bud) Drozdowski. Preceeded in death by her parents Stephen and Anna (Tamulewicz) Drozdowski.
Betty was a graduate of Kent State University and devoted teacher in the Parma City Schools for 35 years. Although retired in 1999, she continued friendships with former students and teachers. Her main love though, was spending time with her children and grandchildren, providing many learning experiences for them in the backyard and family get togethers. She will be missed by family and friends especially her long time childhood best friend Joan Gumbel.
Family and friends received on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague), Broadview Heights.
Funeral services Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at Faulhaber Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
