Dragi Bogdanovic

Dragi Bogdanovic, born October 30, 1950, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Kosovo in the former republic of Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in 1975. Proud father of Milan and Jasmina (Ryan), and loving grandfather of Oliver, Melaina and Maks. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Milan and Jovanka (nee Damjanovic), his loving sister Rada (Marinko+) and brother Vladimir (Slobodanka). Survived b y his sisters Milena (Ljubomir+) and Aneta (Miroslav+) with whom he had a particularly close and special bond; cherished nephews Misa, Aleksa (Danijela), Nebojsa (Jasmina) and caring niece Milijana (Savo) and many grand nieces and nephews. Dragi was a long-time volunteer at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church Bingo and an avid poker player. We will remember his fighting spirit and his positive outlook, no matter the obstacles that lay before him. He will be dearly missed. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 11th at 12:00 pm at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 West Wallings Road. V. Rev. Miloljub Matic officiating. Interment St. Sava Cemetary.
