Dolores M Hatfield

Dolores M. Hatfield age 98, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side February 24, 2019.  She was born in New Philadelphia, OH September 20, 1920 and raised in Canton, Ohio.  She was married to her high school sweetheart, William R.  (dec) for 62 years.  She is survived by her son Bruce (Diane), daughters Nancy , and Susan (Richard) Holzheimer, Grandchildren Amanda, Jason, Nora, Cole, Alyson, McKenzie and Cameron and  great granddaughter Cecelia and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sisters and brothers: Anne, May,  Harry, Raymond, Margaret and Robert.    She and her husband owned Hatfield Mechanical Contractors where she thrived as bookkeeper and jack of all trades.  She and her husband enjoyed dancing, participated in the American Legion, stroke club, Broadview Heights Senior Center, friends, community, and family.  She was a member of Assumption Church  and volunteered making pierogies for the Lenten seasons.  A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, MARCH 4 at 11 am at Assumption Church, 9183 Broadview Road.  Interment North Lawn Cemetery, Canton, Ohio.  VISITATION MONDAY AT THE CHURCH FROM 10 AM UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  ARRANGEMENTS BY THE DONALD A.
