Djordje Veljkovic, age 79, born to +Radisav and +Ratomirka. Beloved husband of Miroslavka (nee Glisovic). Father to Milos (Heather) and Danijel. Proud grandfather of Ivana, Daniela, and Jovan. Brother to +Ruza Jovic, +Vera Matovic (Rajko), +Jelena Rafajlovic (Rados); +Bosa Veljkovic, +Mihajlo Veljkovic (Milanka), +Ninko Veljkovic (Gordana), and Milenko Veljkovic (Visnja). Kum, uncle, and friend to many in Serbia, France, and the United States.

Djordje passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born in Serbia where his heart remained. He moved first to Paris, France and ultimately settled in the greater Cleveland area. Djordje was a parishioner of the Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in Parma, Ohio since his arrival to this country in 1980. He loved nature, spending time with his beloved grandchildren, and talking politics with his many friends. May his memory be eternal, and may he rest in peace.

All services will be held on Thursday, January 18 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 6306 Broadview Road in Parma, Ohio.  V. Rev. Dragoslav Kosic officiating. PLEASE MEET AT THE CATHEDRAL. Interment will be held at the Monastery Marcha Cemetery, 5095 Broadview Road in Richfield, Ohio.
