Dennis Edward King

Dennis Edward King of Brecksville, treasured father and friend, passed from this life on June 6, 2023 at the age of 84. He was born on May 20, 1939 in Brookfield Ohio to parents Arthur “Art” and Frances “Evelyn”.

Dennis attended Brookfield High School and graduated in 1957 from Sharon High School in Sharon, Pennsylvania. After serving in the US Army from 1958 to 1962, Dennis began his long career as the sole proprietor of D.E. King & Son, a commercial HVAC in Cleveland, Ohio, until his retirement at age 78.

Dennis was a charismatic and generous man who had many interests and hobbies including classic cars and lapidary. He was a voracious reader and jokester supreme.

Dennis will be deeply missed by his children Diane Bock of Santa Barbara,California,Dennis (Cheri) of Bath,Ohio and Christine King of San Rafael, California,and his grandchildren Bryan Bock, and Lucas and April King. Dennis is survived by his previous wife and mother of his children, Sigrid Kehres of North Fort Myers, Florida. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife Sue.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, June 21 from 4-8 pm at Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague).
