David L Chronister

David L. Chronister, beloved husband, 82, of Broadview Heights passed away January 21, following a short illness.  He was born June 20, 1939 in Warren, Ohio, the son of Marvin Chronister and Eleanor Dean. He had lived in Trumbull County most of his life.  He graduated from Mecca High School  in 1957 and served 2 years in the Navy.  After his service he worked for American Welding in Warren, as a machinist for thirty years.  He also spent several years working as St. Roberts Church as a landscaper and custodian.  In his retirement he enjoyed gardening, birding and photography.  He is survived by his wife Carol (Szewczyk),  son Mark  and daughters Kelli  and Theresa. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Ameera Chronister.  He was preceded in death by his parents Marvin and Eleanor Chronister, brother Marvin Chronister and sisters Marva Starr and Delores Church.  A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 11:00 am at Assumption Church, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights.  Visitation at the church Tuesday 10:00 am until time of service.  Burial service on Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 AM at the chapel in All Souls Cemetery, 3823 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Cortland, 44410.
