Frank T. Matyas, Sr., age 95, of Seven Hills passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, Beloved husband of the late Anna (nee Tenik) Matyas; loving father of Linda A. (John) Toth of Wilmington, MA, Frank T. (Linda) Matyas, Jr. of Lakeway, TX, LCDR Philip G. (the late Jane Elizabeth) Matyas (USCG ret.) of Old Town Alexandria, VA, John M. (Emilia) Matyas of Parma, OH, Mary Katheryn (Nicholas) Lizanich of Richfield, OH, Nicki Matyas of Seven Hills, OH, Albert E. (Kimberly) Matyas of Strongsville, OH and Ivana F. (Charles) Hallis of Hudson, OH; dear grandfather of 21 and great grandfather of 18; Brother of Emil (the late Jane), Rudy (Irene) and David (Mary) Matyas. Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a marketing manager for Ohio Bell and later AT&T. Friends will be received 4-8 PM Tuesday, Parastas service 7:00 PM at The Donald A. Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road (at Sprague Road) (440-526-7315). Divine Liturgy, 9:30 AM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist - Byzantine Rite (Snow Rd. and Broadview Rd.). Interment with military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, OH 44273, at 1:30 PM Wednesday. EVERYONE IS TO MEET AT CEMETERY.
