Benedict E "Ben" Stehura

Benedict E. “Ben” Stehura, age 90, of Broadview Heights, passed away on April 1, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Therese Stehura; loving father of Tom, Bill (Joanne), Mike (Kathy), Paul (Laurie), and late daughters Mary Jo and Joan; Beloved grandfather of David (Tanya), Adam, Jonathan, Ben, Aaron (Emily), Mandy Dishong (Adam), Holly, Greg, Kelley, Katie, and Zach; and proud great-grandfather of Aidan, Nolan, Ethan, Adelyn, and Joshua. He was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and enjoyed researching and documenting his family history. Ben proudly served his country in the US Army. He operated many businesses during his career, primarily in the automobile service industry. His greatest love was serving as the proprietor of Rolling Acres Golf Course in Nova OH.Ben enjoyed baseball in his youth and golf for most of his life - passing these loves onto his boys. He was an active member of Assumption Parish in the Altar and Rosary Society, a Eucharistic Minister, a Senior Acolyte, and volunteered for many assignments at the church and in the community. He lived his faith and in the last few years was anxious to meet the Lord. Ben recently enjoyed a 90th birthday celebration with over 100 family and friends - and was so appreciative of all who attended. He had a wonderful time catching up with so many people.
