Richard J. Salasek, age 89, passed away October 2, 2016. 38 year employee of Ohio Bell-Plant Manager. Beloved husband of Jeanne (nee List) for 65 years. Dear father of Richard P., Teresa (Kerry) Schrock, Elaine (John) Vanas and Laura J. Cherished grandfather of Bryan (Elda), Michael, Gregory, and Christine. Great grandfather of Isabella and Brandon. Brother of Raymond (deceased), Mary Lou Monsour (Dr. Donald-deceased), and Edward (deceased) (Mary-surviving). Beloved uncle, great uncle and godfather of many. US Navy veteran. Richard loved backgammon, dominoes, pinochle, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed the outdoors and sunshine. He was a lifetime member of Assumption Church.
