Angie Grysho, born November 26, 1932, went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones. She will be sadly missed by her children Ralph Grysho Jr., Ava Grysho (Ken), Ramona Shirk (Neal), Alan Grysho; grandchildren Ryan Lally (Alyssa), Michell Durosko (Mike), Jessica Coe (Kevin), Michael Wardlow, Gabriel Owens, Morgan Grysho Harper; great grandchildren Madison, Mallory, Aubrey, Taylor, and Michael. Among her many passions she loved to dance. She taught ballroom dancing at Fred Astaire Studio in New York City and Elliot Dance Studio and also held many private dance lessons around Geauga County. Angie retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, ODOT, in 2000, after 29 years. Angie was an active member of St. Helen Parish for over 50 years; Council Member, Commentator, Minister, Lector, and P.S.R. Secretary. She was very active in the community and sat on many boards and committees in Geauga County. Angie belonged to the Democratic Precinct Committee, Women’s Club President, Kiwanis Lake Community Inc., Geauga County Planning Advisory Board, N.O.A.C.A-N.C.I.C. Chair, Geauga 648 Board-Mental Health Board, Geauga Data Bank-Alliance, Inland Lakes Associates Founder and President, Geauga Community Development Advisory Board, Pollution Advisory Board, Geauga Red Feather Agency-United Way, Geauga Transportation Board Trustee, Lake-Geauga C.Y.O., Disaster Services Agency-P.I.O.-E.M.A., Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority, Geauga Committee on Aging, Geauga Grand Jury Foreman-revised all rules and regulations, League of Women Voters, Geauga Health Department Levy Committee, Newbury Township Fire Department Auxiliary Flames, Police Department Auxiliary President, Geauga Hospital ER Volunteer, Geauga Theater Guild Member, and O.C.S.E.A Chapter Treasurer-Steward. Angie also did fundraising for St. Helen St. Vincent DePaul, Mental Health Board Celebration Ball, Chardon Recreation Board, Middlefield Recreation Board, St. Helen Ushers Club, Newbury Auditorium, Cancer Association, Heart Association, and St. Helen Life Teen. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD on Saturday, February 20 at 10:00 AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Road, Newbury. Father Jay will officiate. Interment immediately after service at Newbury Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS BY THE FERRARA FUNERAL HOME.
