Richard E Crofoot

Richard Eugene Crofoot, age 86, passed away peacefully November 20th
2015 after a brief illness.Richard was preceded in death by his cherished wife of 60 years,
Joyce. He is survived by their four children, Laurie (Mike), Jeff,
Chip (Mary) and Amy (Todd); as well as seven grandchildren, Jesse,
Katie, Michael, Kevin, Madison, Patrick, Jordan; and two
great-grandchildren, Lucy and Levi.Born in Medina, Richard lived and raised his family in Richfield, Ohiofor much of his life, where he wore many hats, including volunteer
fire and rescue, township trustee, zoning, scouting, PTA, and local
politics. A salesman by day, Richard's joy was in the beloved circle
of friends and family he built. A hard-working and independent man,
Richard will be remembered for his strength and charm.
A memorial service will be held at Amvets Post #176, 3944 Wheatley Rd,
Richfield, Ohio, on Tuesday, November 24th. Calling hours 4:00-6:00,
service at 6:00 with a celebration of Richard's life to follow. In
lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Crowell-Hilaka. Checks
