Geoffrey A Williams

Geoffrey Williams, age 77, Husband of Fran (deceased). Son of Arthur and Anne (both deceased). Brother of Deborah (Tom) Brooks. Uncle of Stephen (Debbie) and Anne. Nephew of Anne Williams Dick. Great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Geoff was a graduate of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH. In 1961 he graduated from Yale University with a joint major in History and English. After leaving Yale, Geoff joined the Army, posted to Fort Ord , on the central coast of California. He was admitted into the Linguistics branch of the US Army. He trained in the Czechoslovakian language at the Defense Language Institute in Pacific Grove, CA. He was posted to Bavaria, Germany for 2 years. After returning from the Army, he worked as a systems analyst for many years at Alltel Communications. Geoff is best-known for his lively mind and his wry sense of humor, bringing glints of joy to every gathering where he was present. Family suggests contributions to the charity of choice.
