Edward W. Rubes, age 90, passed away peacefully October 15, 2015. Loving husband of Laura (nee Brown) for 64 years. Beloved father of Linda, Pamela and Edward (Denise). Devoted grandfather of Scott, Timothy, Sarah, Kayla, and Chris Henrich (Rachel). Great grandfather of Lucy Henrich. Dear son of the late Frank and Anna. Dear brother of Raymond (deceased), Alice (deceased) and Jean (deceased). Dear uncle of 7 nieces and nephews. Ed was proud to have served in the US Navy during WWII as a medical corpsman in Okinawa, North China. Electrical estimator and construction project manager for 50 years, George Stone Singer for 9 years, Assumption Church usher, and volunteer for Broadview Heights Human Service Department.
