Peter H Presson

Peter H. Presson, age 89, of Broadview Heights, passed on to the Lord Friday, April 18, 2014.  Preceded in death by his parents, Alvero and Apolonia, his brothers, Gerald and Martin and his sister, Rosemary.  Survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Claire K and children Mark (Beverly), Scott (Lorraine),  Gale and Kirk, brother, Joseph of PA.  Devoted grandfather of Jasmine, Kami, Kelsey, and Zachary.  A native of Herrin, IL, Peter served in WWII in the Philippines.  He earned a business degree at the University of Illinois, before moving to Cleveland.  Peter worked for several companies as an accountant and controller, and earned his CPA.  He lived a life of service, volunteering in numerous capacities, such as at Assumption Church, Broadview Heights Town Government, Rotary Club of Cleveland, Boy Scouts, and on the Brecksville-Broadview Heights School Board.  Peter loved tennis, golf and sailing.  Family suggests contributions to Assumption Church, Endowment Fund, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, 44147 or the to  Alzheimer’s Association, 23215 Commerce Park Drive, #300, Beachwood, OH 44122.   A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 24 AT 10:00 AM AT ASSUMPTION CHURCH.  PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
