Vojin Gradojevic, age 87 of Bratenahl, Ohio passed away on November 18, 2013 at the Slovene Home for The Aged. Beloved son of late Dr. Mihailo Gradojevic and Darinka (nee Milisic); brother of Vladislava (Jakovljevic) and Zoran (deceased); dear husband of Olga (nee Radosavljevich); father of Mihailo (Mickey) & Katherine; father-in-law of Brian Manker; grandfather of Richard & Sophie. Born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1926, Vojin became a nuclear physicist before immigrating to the U.S. in 1964. He worked for the Cleveland Clinic, Harshaw Chemical Co., and the Victoreen Instrument Co. He was an active member and a former president of the Yugoslav Sokol-Cleveland Chapter. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to The Serbian Folklore Group “Morava” at The Saint Sava Orthodox Church in memory of Vojin Gradojevic. The family wishes to thank The Slovene Home for the Aged for their kind care of our dear Vojin. ALL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, November 20 at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 2151 W. Wallings Road at 12:30 PM. V. Rev. Mijoljub Matic officiating. Interment St. Sava Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday 12:00 PM until time of service.
