JOHN H. SKEEL age 65, President and co-owner of Lund Equipment Company where he was employed for 51 years. Loved and enjoyed life, family and friends. Avid reader. Liked country music, hiking, biking and Black Jack. Enjoyed taking his golden to the park daily and could be found greeting the sunrise on the beach on Hilton Head Island just three weeks ago. Beloved husband of Becky (nee Russell) of 41 years, whom he met in first grade. Dearest father and friend of Denean (Bryan) Franz. Grandfather of Gavin John and Skylar (Jackson). Brother of James (Susan) Skeel and twin sister, Judith Compton. Brother-in- law of Patti Kean (deceased), John and (Barbara, deceased) Koch, Mary (Pat) Tandon and Andy (Bill, deceased) Russell. Beloved uncle and friend to many. Whether he led, followed, taught or learned, John was the most dedicated, understanding and hardworking man. He found adventure and joy in meeting new people, traveling, being outdoors and enjoying a good laugh. He could be found after (an early start and) a hard days work at one of the local Brecksville restaurants or visiting friends and neighbors up and down Highland Drive where he was born, raised and lived out his too short but very full life.
