Alphonse J. Koeth, age 89, passed away April 9, 2012. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Hofstetter) (deceased). He was the precious father of Claudia Sarcyk (Skip), Rosemary Wensinger (Don), Teresa Steven (John), Laura Schlaff (Nick), Jason(Cindy), Julie Coleman (Jeff), Fran Richards (Bob), and Mary. Alphonse’s 23 grandchildren and
14 great grandchildren will miss him deeply. He was a brother to the following deceased Hattie Scanlon, Clara Winkleman, Robert, Rudy and Eric. On January 22, 1923 Alphonse was born in Germany to Ernest and Julianna (both deceased). Alphonse was an
electrical engineer for General Motors for many years. He was instrumental in the formation of the parishes of St. Peregrine and St. Therese. US Army veteran.
