Charles R.”Bud” Palmer, Sr., of Richfield, passed away suddenly August 21, 2011. Born June 22, 1931 and moved to Cleveland after serving six years in the US Air Force. He was a staff sergeant and was located in Greenland. Bud and Carol moved to Richfield where he eventually owned a Gulf Gas Station for many years. He was on Richfield’s Voluntary Fire Team. Beloved husband of Carol C. (nee Burnette) for 58 years. Dear father of Charles R., Jr. (Candy) and Carolyn R. (Fred) Carson. Loving grandfather of Brian R. (Connie), Adam C., Melissa F. (JJ) Rodriguez, Robert E. (Amanda) and Taylor J. Step-grandfather of Victoria Downing. Great grandfather of Janie, Justin, Jeremy, and Jordan. Brother of Robert W. (Phyllis), Alma (Harold-deceased) Holding, Donald A., James A. (deceased) (Lelah) and Leo (Leah May and Carolyn-both deceased) Beloved uncle of many.
